Question 1

What is magnetic track lighting and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Magnetic track lighting is a modern DC48V low-voltage lighting system where LED fixtures attach magnetically to a slim aluminum track. The magnetic connection allows tool-free installation and repositioning. YNDLUX offers 12mm, 16mm, and 20mm track profiles with spotlights, linear lights, pendant lights, and grille lights.

Question 2

Is DC48V magnetic track lighting safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. DC48V magnetic track lighting operates at safe extra-low voltage (SELV), well below the 60V DC threshold for electrical safety. This makes it safe to touch during installation and maintenance, even without turning off the power. It is ideal for retail, hospitality, and residential applications.

Question 3

Can magnetic track lights be dimmed with DALI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. YNDLUX magnetic track lighting supports DALI, 0-10V, and phase-cut dimming. DALI dimming provides individual addressability for each fixture, enabling scene control and integration with building management systems. This is particularly useful for retail stores and museums.

Question 4

What beam angles are available for magnetic track spotlights?

Accepted Answer

YNDLUX magnetic track spotlights are available in multiple beam angles including 15°, 24°, 36°, and 60°. Some models feature adjustable beam angles. Narrow beams (15°) suit accent lighting, while wider beams (36-60°) provide general illumination.
